Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn was born in the US. She is best known for her character Skyler White in the AMC Drama series Breaking Bad for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in the Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Alongside her roles as Martha Bullock and Jean Ward She has also appeared on The Practice. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and discovered her love for acting during her time at Preparatory School. The late 1970s, the family moved to Ohio. The theatre studies she pursued took place in the theatre department at Northwestern University. A semester was spent at the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her career working in the Chicago area theatres for a few years. After that, she switched to TV and film. Anna's first big role was Arden on Down the Shore. She was in 29 episodes. In addition, she appeared in Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. It was only in the latter part of 1990 when she landed the role of The Practice. Martha Bullock, a character which she played for two years on Deadwood's season two. In 2008 she was cast in the role of Skyler as Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully as well as Deadwood was also an integral part of her acting career. Gunn played a role in the David Schwimmer directed film Sex With Strangers. The year 2022 saw Gunn was a part of a four-part audio-play show named "Numbered days". Breaking Bad is often centered on the relationships of Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their strained bond and final break-up echoes the last years of Walter White's personal life.
